About me
I’m a software engineer based in Kigali, shipping production software since 2019 for teams across Europe, the US, Africa and Latin America: an online investment platform, a global event-ticketing marketplace, an employee-feedback product and, most recently, a legislative intelligence platform.
I work across the stack with a focus on the frontend: React, Next.js and TypeScript on the web, React Native on mobile, and Node.js with PostgreSQL behind them. I care about clean, maintainable code and the details people actually feel, and I’ve led a team and mentored junior developers along the way.

Full-stack Engineer at Legislat.ai
Legislat.ai monitors Panama’s legislature and turns sessions, bills and the people behind them into briefings for organisations. I worked across the backend, web and mobile codebases from the first commit.
- Built the React Native (Expo) app from scratch: Auth0 login, onboarding, the live legislative feed, and session recordings that play above a scrolling transcript.
- Moved the NestJS API from mocks to real PostgreSQL queries for topics, sessions, bills and actors, and added team invitations, Stripe webhooks, seat-limit checks on plan downgrades and translated email templates.
- Set up the web app’s architecture (Redux Toolkit, route guards, role-based permissions) and built the actor profiles, bill pages and mention panels in Next.js.
Software Engineer at Etinx
Maintained and built features for Ndovu, an online investment platform, working with a distributed team to keep it scalable and pleasant to use.
Frontend Engineer at Fiesta Club
Led the frontend team through several product releases for a global event discovery and ticketing platform, working closely with backend engineers, the product manager and business stakeholders.
